The colors and tones of this site is warm and inviting. They make me feel almost cozy, which is fitting because good furniture should do that for you. they have a very large collection of furniture styles from simple stools to microfiber sofa.
They have furniture for several different rooms. I enjoyed their living room furniture most, but thats because I am a living room guy. They have a black sofa that would go nicely in with my current setup. There is a great assortment of to go with any decor. The price on their Leather furniture is more than reasonable and should be examined before you but from anyone else.

post Ninja Promoting a Cici’s Pizza

Advertising NinjaI think their marketing campaign worked, as it has garnered alot of attention. And points to him for having gusto with a project most wouldn’t want to do to begin with. If we all worked our dead end jobs with as much enthusiasm as this guy, I bet we would not realize how crummy our jobs are. This guy puts himself in danger for, less than most people make. Unless he is getting a stunt mans salary, but I don’t find that to be very likely. Maybe that was his job description however, in which case, would not the pizza joint have to have a special insurance?
All good points to ponder. In the meantime, lets get some Cici’s.

I bet he was simply bored.

post Loans

Loans are an integral part of our society, and a needed part of our economy. Without lenders, and without people obtaining loans our economy would crash because its dependent on credit. Its used on a daily basis in so many different facets of our lives, and we do not even think about it anymore.

Until we need more. Then it is very obvious to us.

Sometimes people have the debt spread out over several lines of credit. This can be bad, because you pay several different interest rates, and these rates might be higher than they need to be, so if a person in this situation was to get one loan at low interest, and moved their debt to that line of credit they would pay less over time to remedy the debt. This is a great form of Debt consolidation.

Mortgage Loans are useful for people wanting to obtain homes or real estate. There are many options and structuring styles available, and they generally last 30 years.

Persons with a current mortgage will sometimes Refinance to get a better term or interest rate.

post Oh George!

How do we keep good ol George W Bush from saying stupid stuff to further embarrass our nation? Seems theres people actually hired to do just that.

This week when Bush addressed the UN, the American administration demonstrated exactly how its done. Bush uses a system much like elementary school flashcards. Of course theres also a teleprompter with the phonetic spelling being shown.

An example would be, French President Nicolas Sarkozy (sar-KO-zee), or the Zimbabwe capital Harare (hah-RAR-ray). The White House was left looking stupid when a copy of Bush’s speech was posted to the UN web site even as he was reading it. This gave the world a glimpse  into the special guidance out learning disabled president is coddled with.

One of Bush’s bigger mix ups was at a welcoming ceremony for Queen Elizabeth II, where he placed her in the 18th century. Way to go!

Earlier this month at a conference in Sydney, Bush confused Australians and Austrians and repeatedly referred to them as such.

post Credits Cards

A credit card is as standard in todays culture as a pair of jeans, and oftentimes just as required. We as a nation use credit cards for many things from buying our overpriced gasoline to going out for dinner.

If you can pay it off right away its a great way to substitute for cash and quickly improve your credit score, and credit score is important, more so for the bigger purchases such as houses or cars.

My mothers credit card earns her points she can use for other purchases, her Gm card for example earns her vast discounts on vehicle purchases. This is an enormous advantage for her as she saved almost 5000 on her last car just from her credit card use.

post Panties Stolen

Police are perplexed by an attack on a woman in which her underpants were ripped off and stolen, he bag was also taken. This occurred in Brisbane on Monday. Even stranger it happened in a crowded place in broad daylight.

Local police never heard of anything like it before.

The 23 year old woman was grabbed from behind as she left the train station at 430 pm.

The lawbreaker lifted her dress up and ripped of her panties , grabbed her bag and ran.

There was no attempt to commit a sexual crime, and he was certain he would get away with it, why else do that near a crowded place.

Police are not certain if the panties were a trophy, or if he was a pervert, or if he had thoughts of a further attack.

Police have excluded this attack from a string of sexual assaults that have popped up lately.

post PayPerPost

Some time ago, I joined a fantastic site. I get a bonus to do what I love doing, they actually pay me to write a post. At first I thought it was a scam, but they sent real money. So I kept at it, and I 100% love it, and I do it regularly.

One of the very first things I noticed was, the staff at PayPerPost.com genuinely love their “posties” and I can bet that they treat their clients the very same way. Its this fact in my opinion that makes this community dynamic, its growing fast, and the people involved have all shown to be good company. The forums are alive with helpful hints and constructive criticism allowing anyone who wants to learn to be able to do so.

I have learned alot about the blogging scene in general, who’s who, and whats where. I have learned alot about google’s page rank system, and I have learned quite abit about myself, because I post more regularly now. Technorati still doesnt make sense to me, I knwo that sounds strange because to many people it is straighforward but to me, well i really do not know why its useful to a blogger, and I intend to discover that. I mean yes its a search engine for blogs, but why is that so significant?

I am setting the money I been making doing this, to give my son all the best things as I can. He is the greatest thing in the world and I dont want him to have a single bad day I can prevent. I dont know what to get him for first birthday, but I want it to be something he will really like, and that will help him learn a skill, like motor development, or color recognition.

Its a great set-up really, you can get paid to write a blog post or to do blog reviews.

This is just one more piece of proof that if Americans were educated as well as Europeans, nothing would be impossible for us. They have some of the best education in the world, and obviously some great commercial writers as well. The European Union requires 2 years of military service from every person upon completing their education. This is fascinating because it means that an entire continent is militarily trained. Interesting to think that an invasion would be well fought. I mean even the housewives know hwo to fight, it changes your thinking.

Nice Idea - The funniest movie is here. Find it

post Series 65

September 26th, 2007

Filed under: Finance — Tom @ 5:58 pm

I had at one point in my life been interested in being a stock broker. This is an interesting career and its a difficult one to get into. You had to pass a test called the series 7 test, and to even to take the test you had to be employed by a brokerage, meaning, you had to have the job you weren’t qualified for.

If you want to be a investment adviser you need to take the Series 65 test. Its about 3 hours long and is comprised of 130 questions. The questions are multiple choice. Taking the Series 65 Exam is a move in the right direction!

You will however need to study, and I have found a site that has great materials and for much less money than you would think. Everything from and of chapter mini tests, to large and focused vocabulary related to the testing is covered. The final exam given in the study guide is as close to the actual test as the can legally get, when you can pass their practice exam, you are ready for the real thing!

Be prepared to take and pass this exam, as you can only take it so often, i think its 6 months between testing periods.

post Xbox Live Crashes

September 26th, 2007

Filed under: Games — Tom @ 5:38 pm

Xbox live went down for a lengthy period of time on the 25th of September. Players who pay for the service were unable to make use of it, on one of the biggest days for xbox live.

Halo 3, a very anticipated game was released on September 25,  as million of people loaded up their treasure and connected to the fee based Xbox Live, it stopped working. This has caused untold pain and anguish in the game fans.

But hey! Who makes Xbox Live? Thats right, Microsoft, the makers of a crappy operating system. Why should their gaming platform be any better?

I think its a terrible shame that people are paying for a service that when wanted most, fails. Get on the ball and get that fixed!
