Sunglasses

Monday, September 10th, 2007

Most people find direct sunlight much too bright and vibrant to be comfortable, moreso when reading off the paper in direct sunlight, especially on a bright day. During outside activities like biking, sledding and swimming, your eye can get more light than normal. It is advised to wear these kind of glasses when you are outside to keep your eyes safe from UV light, which can bring you cataracts.

Shades have also been closley linked with celebrities and movie actors mostly due to the want to hide who they are, but also because of the movie production lighting being so much more harsh than sunlight, makes their eyes sensitive to light.

But hey, the real reason people wear designer sunglasses is because they just look darn cool!

Nose Jobs

Monday, August 27th, 2007

Ah, nose surgery, which as we know is also called rhinoplasty, is always talked abaout. Why? Simple. The nose is the centerpice of the face. Its a focal point, its no shock we focus on it.

Even though we only hear about movie stars doing it, us regular folks partake as well. In fact, Beverly Hills nose surgery common nationwide.
The  surgery usually  takes two hours to finish, but it can take longer for more complex operations. Rhinoplasty’s actual meaning is  defined as shaping of the nose and, along the course of the procedure, the skin of the nose is removed from the  bone and cartilage and is  then shaped to a more likable shape. Your particular issue and the doctor’s preferred style will determine the exact degree of the shaping. Once the shape you want is done, the skin is replaced over the new chassis. To help keep the new design of the nose as it heals, a brace will be put on. A minute amount of delicate, absorbent material may be placed on the inside of the nose to help keep sturdiness, though this is generally removed on the morning following your operation.
