Are you a person who enjoys art? Do you like it so much you are interested in collecting art?

Park West Art Gallery is an art auction company that is home to the largest art collection the world knows. Their collection is both massive and awesome.

Some art is a little beyond me, but I do really enjoy statues. Even if you are not a big art fan, you should look at the site, as I think you will be amazed.

The building that is the gallery is 65,000 square feet, it is in itself a work of art, and is styles in the Greco-Roman style of buildings. Its land encompasses 3.5 acres, that is a lot of art, and in the building is 23 galleries, and outside is a pond and a lovely garden.

If you are serious about collecting art, you would do yourself a favor when dealing with Park West, as I believe they have the greatest ability to bring masterpieces to the masses. This allows a person to enjoy the works of art so highly cherished in the own home.

post Mold Removal

This is a damp, cold wet time of year. Some basements are damp or wet as well, and is often the case in older homes. If you have a leak , please get that taken care of, it will not get better on its own and the problem will only become compounded with time.

If your basement is unsealed it may become damp, and we know that darkness combined with moisture and dampness will produce mold. Mold is definitely undesirable and in a few cases downright harmful, one of the worst molds is a variety commonly called “black mold”.

If you got mold, deal with it immediately! It spreads, and fast. Have professionals come and look and give you at least their opinion. You certainly do no want this to overrun your home. You will notice it first by smell. Do not rely on your eyes. If you do indeed smell it, contact a New York mold removal specialist to come and assist you in purging your home of this foul fungi.

post Protection Dogs

October 19th, 2007

Filed under: Home and Life — Tom @ 5:50 pm

While I am not a big fan of dogs, I was completely impressed and totally amazed by the dogs at ccK9.com. They are very meticulous in the dogs they select. They feel that only the top 1% of the breed is capable to be trained, and the only select dogs that were raised by hand by a person that cared for the animal, as opposed to sloppy breeders and wholesalers. So the bottom line is a healthy animal that excels in every way.

Take that fantastic animal and train him with precision and vigor to be protection dogs. It sounds like something simple, but it isn’t, these dogs are truly high end. they have four levels of training, with varying degrees, and you are sure to find the dog that has skills best suited to protect your loved ones within one of the four levels of training.

I looked in depth at the level 4 dog. I was truly amazed. Level 4 dogs are 3 to 4 years old when you get them, and thats 3 to 4 years of training. What is interesting is they will train them to your language. A level 4 dog can protect against multiple armed opponents. It knows to target the weapon hand, and it can be put into aggression mode by a command. The level 4 canine is taught to “bite and fight”.

He can track humans and items by scent. He can do things like an aggression escape. It is capable of doing building searches. He can do his job off a leash even with distractions all around. He will refuse food as per training, this would prevent him being poisoned. he will spot relieve if given the command to do so.

All of this, and he has been socialized to children and other animals and so will be comfortable to being in a home environment. This is not only a trained protector, but also a companion and friend.

Now included with the purchase of this awesome dog is a paid stay in a hotel while you also work with trainer and the animal to be certain that he responds to you as well as he does his trainers. So you can see the capability of the animal in action and see that he does indeed respond to you.

Anyone who has gotten married knows how expensive a wedding is. So in an effort to save money and still have quality wedding favors you must turn to the internet. Here you can find quite a few providers, some better than others. Little Things Favors is a recently expanded provider of favors, for weddings and otherwise. I saw some products I was quite interested in. I am not considering getting married until after the winter, but there is no harm in pre-ordering. It is a calmer atmosphere if you do not wait until the last minute, of course, that is my opinion.

post Bonding

September 30th, 2007

Filed under: Home and Life — Tom @ 2:06 pm

A surety bond is a form of a guarantee, some people think it s insurance, but it is actually a line of credit. The bond guarantees different things depending on the insurance.

People often wonder how to go about getting a bond, and if it it difficult. Its not difficult, as you only need to apply to get one, well to start the process anyways. Often, your bonding agent can have the result for you the same day, but sometimes takes up to four days to find out the results. You will then be made aware of the premium you must pay, and will hash out the whole bonding agreement between you and the bond issuer. After all is said and signed, your bond will be issued to you in 24-48 hours.

In this agreement you are considered to be the principal, and as such you must pay a given amount of the bond to be reffered to as a premium. The bond then gives you a credit to surety which covers a greater amount with a guarantee. If you do not adhere to the terms of the agreement a claim can come up. If this becomes the case, the bonding company will look to you to pay the claim and and legal fees incurred.

You might be asking yourself, why have a bond if I must pay the legal fees? I say again, a bond is not insurance, it is credit. You are still required to pay any claims against your credit.

A way around a bond is to post cash, or even a letter of credit. The benefit to bonding is that you usually will not have to post collateral giving you more capital, and the premium found with bonds is not unlike the fee paid for a letter of credit.

Are bonds expensive? Well that depends on the type of guarantee. It also depends on who is being bonded. Being as its credit everyone has a different rate.

You need one in a few lines of work to be certain you will follow certain rules. The one most readily coming to mind is that of a general contractor.

A general contractor would be most interested in a performance bond and a mortgage bond would be geared towards a real estate broker.

post Baby Showers

September 16th, 2007

You can not have a proper baby shower without baby shower decorations. That would not be fun at all. Babies are a joy and baby showers are a celebration of that joy. It should definitely be a fun and festive mood.

Often creative people will come up with some activities for people to enjoy at the baby shower. Some examples would include baby name bingo, guessing games like when the baby will be born or if it is a boy or girl. Guesses might include if the baby has brown or green eyes. Some of these activities include props, like yarn. You would cut the yarn to the length you expect the mothers circumference of her belly to be at the time the baby’s is born. If mom tries to wrap the yarn around her and it breaks, it is believed that the person who cut the length will be next to have a child.

Some gatherings include tasting baby food and guessing the flavor.

All these activities are obviously on theme with a focus on the soft and cuddly baby. Everyone is feeling the warm atmosphere. I personally enjoy the Precious Moments baby shower

Whatever design you choose, you will want decorate with a theme to create a certain atmosphere. It allows people to really get into the day, and shouldn’t it generate a positive memory for you?

It certainly should!
