Japanese researchers are proclaiming a fantastic discovery following successfully mating breeding the world’s first transparent frogs.
The see-through frogs are beneficial for science because the internal organs and blood vessels can be studied without taking apart the animal.
Frogs are used a lot for scientific research, but this has been criticized by animal rights in the past.
Transparent fishes have been around, but scientists say the manipulation of genes in this manner has created in the world’s first clear four-legged animal.

In the hopes of allowing operating system diversity in India, Microsoft will create several projects around Linux, Unix, and BSD. The deadline will appear in about 1 month. Microsoft hopes to grab some market share in India for Windows. Microsoft’s goal is operating system interoperability.
Microsoft will commission a team of “interoperability experts” to better facilitate working in the Linux world. This will be comprised of key developers from both sides of the coding circle.
Last year Microsoft created a council of experts in the US to assist people using microsofts products in a non windows environment. This council will meet bi-annually. Its a normal progression for Microsoft to establish a similar council in India

DARPA has made driods that can pilot a plane during air to air refueling. This occurs when the fuel planes refuels an airborne jet, in flight. Its a technique thats difficult at best.
Theoretically, an unmanned craft with the ability to air to air refuel would only need to land for occassional craft maintenance
In the past 12 months the droid pilots have successfully done an air to air refueling 11 times without any human input. The jet used in testing was an F18. The android was able to connect to the refueling jet in the toughest of conditions.
Not aonly could the robot pilot connect and take fuel in turbulence but even did so as the tanker was in a turn.
Human pilots have followed tankers through turns, but never connected during one.

Will putting batteries in a refrigerator increase in life expectancy? The answer is yes, but it depends on the type of battery were talking about. For example, alkaline batteries storing in refrigerator will extend the life by little less than 5%. However, if you store them at room temperature. It will retain about 90% of their power. You can’t use cold batteries, that is right away, they have to return room temperature, so it’s like storing alkaline batteries in refrigerator doesn’t make sense for example, if you need them. But if there’s a power failure and you want to put them in your flash light it right away it would render them unusable
However, for nickel cadmium batteries refrigerating them is far more useful, when you store a nickel cadmium battery at room temperature and they lose their charge after just a few days. However refrigerated they retain 90% of their charge

Theres a bunch a things we can do as individuals that when examined on a broader scale will make a definate dent in the global warming issue. Unplugging electronics that are not being used, will save electricity. I encourage everyone to get energy efficient lightbulbs. Another method to this would be to change your current appliances to energystar appliances.
A dramatic change might be to use propane in place of electricity wherever possible. And yet another instance would be to install rooftop solar panels. Motion detectors to monitor the lights would be a further conservation.Only use climate controls when you must and find other ways to keep cool/warm.
As a society we should be looking into furthering the development of alternative energy, like wind, and solar power. Improving our battery technology would be a boon to saving power as well.

I used to be really afraid of flying. Days before a trip I would get so stressed i would be sick, and i would stay sick.
I had to get meds from my doctor just so i could calm down some.
Over time i did get over my phobia. Now i can fall asleep during takeoff. Heres my strategy:
Try to sit in view of the attendants. This is routine for them, and they done it a million times, its just another day to them, and perhaps you will find that comforting.
If you cant feel the vibrations of the aircraft, it makes the flight seem a bit less real, and you can imagine you are simply in a a movie theatre. Try putting your feet on your luggage, or use the bar from chair in front of you.
Its a blessing when the pilots announce prior to trubalence that the chance is likely that the plane will see some. Its nice to be prepared, and its nice ot know that the pilots are prepared as well.
Bring a book, or a crossward puzzle. Anything that can hold your attention and shift your focus. A good magazine is excellent.
In the end, after you do this enough, it will become a second nature to you, and you will find yourself increasingly more comfortable with air travel.

The eyebrows do serve a function. Eyebrows function to keep sweat and rainwater out of your eyes. While this is not important anymore, in primitive times they were very important, for the human was escaping a predator perhaps they start sweating, that salty water in the eyes would blind them and make them food for whatever was chasing them. Eyebrows still plays an important role in our culture because they’re useful for communicating nonverbal expression and women seem to enjoy plucking and pruning them to convey themselves to be more beautiful. Younger people tend to pierce eyebrows, but even with all these things, they still function to wick water from the eyes to the sides of the face. You might consider them the eyes’ is umbrellas.

Ever wonder if other planets have eclipses? Well, its not possible on Venus or Mercury. Why? Because they have no moons. Mars has two smaller moons, named Diemos and Phobos. These moons are relatively small, they are less than 50 kilometers in diameter, its speculated that solar eclipses wouldn’t be able to occur on Mars.
However, its important to note, that the farther you get from the sun, the smaller it will look. For example, Jupiter is 5 light years form the sun, Pluto is 38 light years, Neptune is 20 light years, Uranus is just 15 light years, and Saturn is 10 light years from the sun.
In that light smaller moons could blot out the sun from view and in fact some do! Titan, one of Sauturns moons can remove the Sun’s presense for several hours. 5 other moons are capable of similiar : Io, Europa, Callisto, Triton, and Ganymede.
