If you are looking for a cute and snuggly get away. Consider a cozy bed and breakfast. Its fantastic and the staff are friendly and personable which is a brilliant change from the robots you see in the corporate chains.
Enjoy the company of your significant other at a Bed and breakfast paris. Wake up feeling refreshed and explore the city. Go see the sites, and enjoy the rich history of the land. There is no better way to learn a ethnic culture than a bed and breakfast, I have stayed in many places, but I prefer this type of lodging because its “more close to home”.

A online site which asks vacationers to discover a hidden beach covered in palm trees in Cornwall that is infamous for its topless bathing has been shown to be a fake.
People wanting to explore the untouched heaven of white sand and tropical waters with “very hot stewardesses” - are sent on a reckless search OUT of the county.
They are instructed not to be deterred by locals who may “pretend not to know” exactly where Porthemmet Beach is located.
But the name itself hints at the prank, because emmet is a Cornish word defining ant, but is used as a slang word used for invading tourist types.
The site, which has its own online souvenir shop, was set up by Cornish educator Jonty Haywood as a prank.
It has garnered a cult following inside Cornwall and a organization of over 2,000 people have created a tribute on social site Facebook.
Jonty says that sending people looking for an imaginary beach is funny, and is surprised people from other countries think they have a tropical beach in England.
The Cornwall tourism board is concerned that tourists will think Cornwall is hostile to them, that is not the case. Tourism is a very important part of the local economy.

Raleigh is a city is North Carolina. When you think of city, you might think of traffic, skyscrapers, crowds. A very steel and glass jungle comes to mind when I hear the word city. But thats because you have not visited Raleigh.
Raleigh offers the convenience of a city, with the feel of a town. Raleigh is a city that lets you feel cozy and at home. Is it because of the friendly and cordial people? Maybe it is because you dont feel like the city wants to chew you up and spit you out. People in Raleigh do not appear to be offended if you ask for the time, or directions to a nearby place. They almost seem pleased you considered their fine city good enough to come visit it.
Maybe you want to visit Raleigh, but think you can not afford it. I found it is not an expensive place to go to. It could be thats part of the “down home” attitude. The merchants don’t try to scalp the folks who spend time with them.
A big bonus is that there is a drawing that would allow you to win a Raleigh getaway. It includes the following:
-One night accommodations for two at the Courtyard by Marriott Raleigh Crabtree Valley
-$25 gift certificate to Bloomsbury Bistro
-Free VIP admission for two to Rum Runners
-2 tickets to the North Carolina Theatre
-2 tickets to the N.C. Museum of Art’s Landscapes from the Age of Impressionism
-2 tickets to Dinosaurs: Ancient Fossils, New Discoveries at the N.C. Museum of Natural Sciences
Winning this would allow you to experience the kindness of these people, it would give you some knowledge of their traditional southern culture, catch a sporting event or just take a greta hike and watch the trees change color. I personally would go see Carolina Ballet’s Carmina Burana. Thats a great show!
Everyone should enter to win a FREE Raleigh Getaway. Its a great package at a great time of year. Who couldn’t use a Fall Getaway?

Kauai is the fourth largest of the islands and my personal favorite. Its known as the garden island. Its where I want to spend the next 30 days. I would choose to stay at the Hanalei Bay Resort. Its near the Bali Hai mountain.
The Bali Hai mountains are known for their awesome waterfalls. The resort has views of the bay, maybe I will see a dolphin.
The Movie “South Pacific” was filmed near here. To give you an idea of the locale and what the beauty looks like. A kauai vacation is the only way when you really want to relax.
The resort is located on the eastern shore of Hanalei Bay. The resort itself boasts pools, and the waterfalls, world class landscaping, beaches, and ocean. The views are panoramic, live music is played daily, theres a pro tennis shop, complete with a 5 star restaurant on grounds.
Golf is a big attraction here. The princeville area has golf course that are to die for. Just a 10 minutes drive from the resort are 2 world class golf courses, one is named the Prince Course and the other is the Makai Course. Resort guests are entitled to course discounts.
Hanalei bay is one of the best surfing bays in all of Hawaii, and has some of the grandest views of sunrises. White sand s considered to be a romantic item and these beaches are just that.
Hanalei Bay resort is one of the most beautiful resorts inHawaii, as rated by architecture and landscaping. The rich grounds, 22 acres, are perfect for walks and to enjoy the foliage. Theres a on site shuttle service comprised of golf carts cruising about the resort to different points.
Princeville is very near Hanalei Resort and possesses a fantastic water fountain which adds to its enormous reputation for being a photo taking place. At night its even more so.
it should be noted that this resort is located just 15 minutes from the Na’Pali coast. The Na Pali coast known for its scenic views, it also includes Ke’e beach, known for its sunsets and magnificent snorkeling.
And when I am worn out from all of that the resort has its own lounge where i can go share stories with other vacationers, perhaps even find a new golf buddy.

So often we find ourselves needing to travel internationally, usually on business but there are many reasons to travel. To see a new land, to get that feel for history you have only read about. With the inception of the world wide web many people have international based friends, and perhaps they desire to see them, and even enjoy the custom of their lands. Perhaps people will travel to alleviate the stress we have in America, what with the laws changing and these changes are almost smothering the average person. Whatever your reason for travel theres some concerns and ideas you should be aware of.
The cost. Cost can be a major factor in travel. How does one travel comfortably and in an affordable manner? Using Business class flights The site has many great features including a sign up for their newsletter alerting you to deals that surpass the firms normal high quality travel at low prices.
Examples of their saving would be in prices like 279 pounds to go from London to new york city. Some other featured fares are 5469 united states dollars to go from New York City to Tokyo. And for the low sum of 921 Unites States dollars you can fly to London from New York City.
Because this firm is such a major player in the airline industry they strive hard to keep their carbon footprint small. In fact, their is a portion of the site dedicated to just that, and to also educating the average joe on what he can do, specifically to flight travel to help reduce carbon in the atmosphere. An example of that is that they recommend that people not take more than they need for a trip, especially short flights where it has the most impact of carbon production.
For the international traveler the site also boasts a currency converter. A very handy tool which I enjoyed testing out. My test showed me 279 GBP=561.845 and thats accurate.

One of the multiple issues with policy debates nowadays is that they often tend to be not open and taken all to literally. Take the “difficulty” of inflated gas prices. The answer? Tax the oil businesses! Put a cap on prices! Start investigations into price gouging! Remove environmental restrictions on clean-burning gas!
Thats ignorant. We should take different look. Here are a couple of pertinent facts:
* It’s beneficial that gas fees are rising. We want people to purchase more fuel-efficient autos and we want people to drive less. In the long run, oil prices are going to rise up whether we like it or not.
* The poor are the ones hit hardest by high gas prices, they have the least income and oftentimes are stuck in living and work situations that don’t allow them to drive less.
Even so, there are a few policy decisions, some local, some federal, just randomly, that make a lot more sense than whining about the oil industry:
* Cut the tax from the payroll — place more money in the hands of the low income folks, the working poor. Figure that in by increasing taxes on the wealthy return them to the rates we had back when Clinton was around, which allowed for alot of economic growth, thanks.
* Finance and develop urban transit systems.
* Raise the corporate average fuel economy standards.
* Provide federally-funded, high-speed internet connections, all over — very similar to interstate system — and give rewards to employers who allow employees to telecommute.
* Provide government health coverage , perhaps then people wont be so terrified to change jobs.
* Tax the hell out of fuel-inefficient cars and truck purchases and send the money into rewards for fuel-efficient vehicle purchases.
The point is to help the nation get ready for and adapt to increasing gas prices, not to force lower prices.

Theres no one place that can open your way of thinking, but i think that travel in general, especially on a world scale will definately open your mind. When you experience the life of another culture, and if you enjoy it, and embrace it, whether you choose to or not, you will grow as a person.
Europe is a wonderful place, if for no other reason than the fact you can simply board a train and make a day out of going to another country and back home again. You can go to Germany and then train to Switzerland, or Italy, or France etc. Then go see the Alps, its all right there. Couple that with the history thats visible and palpable in Eurpoe.
Imagine further, Africa. The culture there is still primarily intact. The vegetation unchanged. The animals more exotic and beatiful than that of any other place. The people are far kinder than the media would have you believe.
Some people make pilgrimages to the places they have roots, Ireland, England, Scotland, Norway, china etc. I think these are deep and meanful trips to many, much akin to a spiritual pilgrimage

I used to be really afraid of flying. Days before a trip I would get so stressed i would be sick, and i would stay sick.
I had to get meds from my doctor just so i could calm down some.
Over time i did get over my phobia. Now i can fall asleep during takeoff. Heres my strategy:
Try to sit in view of the attendants. This is routine for them, and they done it a million times, its just another day to them, and perhaps you will find that comforting.
If you cant feel the vibrations of the aircraft, it makes the flight seem a bit less real, and you can imagine you are simply in a a movie theatre. Try putting your feet on your luggage, or use the bar from chair in front of you.
Its a blessing when the pilots announce prior to trubalence that the chance is likely that the plane will see some. Its nice to be prepared, and its nice ot know that the pilots are prepared as well.
Bring a book, or a crossward puzzle. Anything that can hold your attention and shift your focus. A good magazine is excellent.
In the end, after you do this enough, it will become a second nature to you, and you will find yourself increasingly more comfortable with air travel.

1. The Blue Man Group for sure! They are over at the Astor Place theater. Even if you are a dance music fan, you will LOVE this show! A trio a blue guys who dont speak, catching objects in their mouth and playing the strangest instruments, they really get the crowd involved! Great time! Very fun.
2. Avenue Q. Check them out over at the Golden Theater. Quite a bit different from the Blue Man Group. Its alot like broadway, but with muppets singing satyrical songs.
3. Whitney Museum,
Rudolph Stingels’ work is currently being displayed, and should not be missed
4. Pace/MacGill Gallery is currently exhibiting some world renowned photographs from many famous collections/
5.Chelsea Market: A fantastic place to catch an inexpensive breakfast or lunch, it boasts some fabulous bakeries to boot!
**JoJo is definately my fave eatery in the whole city. It’s not as stylish as some other places, but they are awesome. The food and service are top of the line, every time. It’s a converted townhome over on the Upper East Side.
