A woman has talked about of her surprise due to coming seeing with her own eyes the heart that nearly ended her life.
Jennifer Sutton is a heart transplant patient that went to the Wellcome Collection in London, and saw the heart that was once inside her.

She had a surgery to get a new heart at 23 years old after developing a heart condition in her teens.

Her initial reaction was “Yuck!”"

The the amazement set in and she was struck with wonder.

Oddly, she is a animal science graduate, and has dissected many hearts in her studies.

She examined the heart given to her at birth, she thought it should be distended but found that to be not the case. She said it looked a bit small by her thoughts.

She says she was looking forward to meeting her heart, and she was very curious to see it. She says her focus is loving her new heart now.
Her intention is to write a thank you letter to the heart donor, and notes she will always be indebted to them. Her condition made the heart muscles stiffen and she was quickly exhausted and had difficulty breathing.

Its a fatal illness, a transplant is the only way to avoid death.

She says the life saving operation has changed her life and the outlook she has for it.
