You can not have a proper baby shower without baby shower decorations. That would not be fun at all. Babies are a joy and baby showers are a celebration of that joy. It should definitely be a fun and festive mood.

Some examples would include baby name bingo, guessing games like when the baby will be born or if it is a boy or girl. Guesses might include if the baby has brown or green eyes. Some of these activities include props, like yarn. You would cut the yarn to the length you expect the mothers circumference of her belly to be at the time the baby’s is born. If mom tries to wrap the yarn around her and it breaks, it is believed that the person who cut the length will be next to have a child.

Some gatherings include tasting baby food and guessing the flavor.
