Simply register online at the do not call Registry. business phones, home phones, and  even cell phones can register to do not call Registry. You will still get some calls.  It takes about 30 days for it to take effect.  If you get anybody call during that period, write on a pad who called inform them that you are on do not call Registry, and you’ll find that they get off the phone rather quickly.  Give this log to your phone company when you send in your phone bill.  This is effective way of dealing with the solicitors,  tell your phone company that you told the callers that you are in the do not call Registry and they’ve been alerted to that. in about 30 days,  you will know the peace of no telemarketers.
