Writing on the Wall

Story from the United Kingdom tells us about a criminal who was quite brazen.
A thief has been brought to  the courts because he left police a great  clue at thescene of the crime - his name was written on a wall.

Officers were left a small clue, Mr.Peter Addison, just 18 years old, wrote “Peter Addison was here!” in black magic marker at a campsite for impoverished kids.

He and buddy Mark Ridgeway, also 18, had gotten drunk and wrecked the camp.

They had smashed dishes, released fire extinguishers and broke plates with bats.

When police captured Addison, he was so cocky as to be wearing a T-shirt taken from the site.

To take it a step further, Addison,  had also scribbled his gang’s name on the same wall - “The Adlington Massiv!”.

Addison also defaced a Garden Birds of Britain poster by scrawling “R Gay”.

His last message was to the campsite owners: “Thanks for the stay.”

Officers found him quickly by running his name through their computers.

One of the inspectors working the case said this one was up their in the league of dumb criminal actions. One inspector said that leaving your name at the crime scene takes the biscuit. They were pleased their job was made easy by addison’s stupidity.
